SecureBoot is not enabled. This is how Battlefield 2042 became unplayable.

Same problem here. I tried many times but I still can't fix it.

Ja ik heb hetzelfde probleem. Ik heb een aantal; video's op Youtube bekeken, maar ik krijg het niet voor elkaar. Heel jammer, want ik speelde BF2042 iedere dag.

This is what you were asking for when demanding EA to do something against cheaters. 

I am so pissed with EA right now. WTH. 

My wife plays this game on her PS5 BECAUSE we can play together. Not anymore. 

Many of us can't have it enabled. I run a linux distro on another drive. Guess what doesn't work when secure boot is enabled. 

I'm sure there is workaround for that.. There is always a way.

yeah 2042 is 100% dead now, not sure why they would brick their own game like that.

You guys think that they are going to revert back to before the update? if it's a no, I want to know so I can delete the game. so far it seems they are leaning into this. this sucks to be honest, I convinced 2 friends to buy the game and now this crap happens, so they both deleted it and I'm just holding out in case they revert.

You know that most players who play BF2042 have already Secure Boot Enabled because their PC is up to current standards? Those few here complaining doesn't make a tent at all.. All those "OG players" who complain here are the ones who asked EA's help against cheaters.. Now when EA actually did something you change your mind and don't want help anymore? 
People are simply too lazy to look up how to enable Secure Boot in their bios and choose to moan here instead.
With all that time you guys spend here crying you would have had Secure Boot already enabled and having fun playing the game.
