I understand from what you're saying is that you don't see many populated Portal servers that are created by the community. However, if you view the servers via the Portal Server Browser, you can only see the custom created servers that are made by the community members in your area.
Can you also not get into any matches while playing the official Multiplayer AoW matches or Portal Featured?

Correct. Even when I start AoW it puts me in the que while it attempts to populate a squad. MOST of the time it just sits there while people come and go. I can only assume that its not getting enough and then just times out and sends me back to the start menu again. To be clear I most attempt CONQUEST game modes but yeah I haven't been able to play in a couple of weeks.
