Servers keep kicking me out

SOLUTION ON THE SECOND PAGE OF THE ANSWERS!!!

TL;DR: Servers kick me out constantly, tried everything, nothing worked.
Hey everyone, I'm a new player, and I have a problem with staying connected to EA servers. I get the message:
"Unable to connect to EA servers. Please check your internet connection, make sure the Platform Client is online and try again. Please see -- website link here -- for more information.
Error code: 1:4688822970:-4685921b"

I'm trying to play via Steam using the EA play subscription that I purchased just because I would like to play this game with my friends.
Sometimes I'm able to play 2 or even 3 matches straight without any problems, sometimes it's 10 minutes. I have spent approximately 8 or 10 hours troubleshooting this already, trying various supposed fixes such as:

-Changing DNS servers
-Turning off all firewalls and anti-virus (both on my router and PC)
-Adding EA and the game itself to firewall and antivirus exceptions
-Reinstalling the EA app
-Reinstalling Steam
-Reinstalling the game
-Reinstalling Windows 10
-Upgrading to Windows 11
-Putting a brand new SSD into my rig, installing nothing else but Steam, EA Play and the Game onto it (Win 10 and Win 11)
-Changing internet service providers (I have one of the best providers and best packages that money can buy in my area at home and an even better in my office, from a different ISP)
-Tried plugging in my phone and sharing it's connection through USB which is yet another provider
-Contacted EA support 2 times (one was a pleasant chat with a nice guy, but couldn't give me any tips, other was just basic copy-paste guy, he couldn't help either)
-Read literally every forum and reddit post and tried their solutions
-Watched all the related YouTube videos and tried ther solutions

At this point, I'm kind of desperate, because none of these helped. Same issue, i play 10-30 minutes OR sometimes an hour, then I get kicked from the servers. Then while I wait for my friends to finish the game we started togeather, I get kicked once again WHILE IN MENU (?!). If this happens, every 5 minutes max I get kicked again. Then I have to relaunch the game and basically roll the dice, and gamble "how much time I can borrow" before I get kicked again.
Any ideas? 🙂

  • Alright, now this is the stupidest s#!t I have ever seen, and I don't think any sane person should put even remotely this amount of thought, time and money into this whole case than I did, because it is legit not worth it, but I HAVE FOUND THE SOLUTION! (at least for me)

I had the task manager open on my second monitor today, when I tried once again to play the game. The usual happened, when I noticed, that the EA background service, the EA app and the EA anticheat went to "suspended" or "efficiency" mode.

Now I have no idea why this happened, but I force closed everything related to this game, restarted my PC and tried from the beginning again, with the difference that I put the EA app on my second monitor into the foreground (visibly open). This prevents Windows from putting it into "suspended" mode, since it is not in the background technically speaking and I was able to play without any problems.

I have no idea how and why can this happen in the first place, but there you have it.

If you don't have a second monitor to put the EA app on, try the suggestions that are on this website:

How to Block or Let Apps Run in the Background in Windows 11 (winbuzzer.com)

I hope I could help at least 1 other person who had the same problem.

    @hahahlolasd  Do this:

Press Windows key + 'R' ,typ CMD, Press and hold down CTRL + SHIFT and press ENTER.
When User Account Control shows up, click Yes.

copy and paste the following commands by pressing enter at the end of each command line:

    netsh winsock reset
    netsh int ip reset
    netsh advfirewall reset
    netsh winhttp reset proxy
    ipconfig /release
    ipconfig /flushdns

    Now Shut down the PC.
Unplug power cable from modem/router for about 1 minute (unplug power cables).
Plugin power cable from the router/modem and wait till it's back online.
    Boot your system

Before ya launch any other APP/PROGRAM test BF2041 first.
During loading from game FIREWALL WILL POPUP , its possible ya need to switch between those windows/game by pressings ALT+TAB.

Ya need to grant PUBLIC NETWORK ACCES

after ya booted system its possible some apps need to be granted acces again in Windows Firewall (as soon ya start the app). Select PUBLIC NETWORK.

Test game and update us, thanks

  • @Rokebo73 All of this has already been tried (2 separate times), didn't solve the issue. Saw this in various posts and YT videos before, unfortunately I still have the same issue.

  • Had a 2.3 GB update just now, downloaded it, launched it, got kicked again. ☹️

    @hahahlolasd  did repair/verify game files?
Sometimes a new download/install game could fix the issues (also game platform).

    Post dxdiag please.

    Cheers
