Summarize your bug Various gas elements in game are colliding with grenades launched from under-barrel grenade launchers and McKay's grappling hook.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? For the grenade launcher: 1. Stand inside building that has cooling effecting happening. Where it looks like cold air is flowing down. 2. Try to use the grenade launcher. 3. The grenade will blow up instantly. For grappling hook: 1. Throw a smoke grenade near a roof. 2. Try to grapple to the roof through the smoke. 3. The grapple instead collides with the smoke and you grapple towards the smoke.
What happens when the bug occurs? Grenades from grenade launches will detonate instantly when trying to fire in a room with cold gas flowing. Grapple hook will hit the smoke from smoke grenades instead of going through.
What should be happening instead? Grenades should not explode immediately. And Grapple hook should go through smoke.

I think some of the gas elements of the game have the same collision layer as projectile weapons and gadgets. This causes grappling hooks to grapple on smoke from smoke grenades and grenades from grenade launchers to explode immediately when firing in buildings with cooling gas.
