I change up all my movement keys because I play lefthanded. I'm not seeing a way to change the keybinds from move forward, backward, strafe left, strafe right anywhere? I can't play on W A S D movement. How do I change this?
I am having the same problem for the past 3 days. Keyboard input bindings will not save if changed from default bindings. If i get lucky and figure out how to make the bindings save, i will come back and share. Please do the same. Good luck.
I found out why my input keys would not save when i changed them.
Go to Settings/ update security/windows security / virus and threat protection/manage ransomware protection/ allow an app through controlled folder access/ I had to find BF2042.exe and add it to the allowed app list. To make sure i also added: EADesktop.exe EAAntiCheat.GameServicelauncher.exe And BF2042Trial.exe. After saving these to the allowed app list, I can change and save the keyboard input binding keys and the game now Starts on the first try. Before i had to start the game then use task Manger to shut it down then start it again.
