|SOLVED|DirectX function E-INVALIDARG Error

<SOLVED> I deleted all the files in the cache folder. C/Users/username/Documents/Battlefield 2042/cache and that did the trick. I can now play Stranded again.  I played the new update last night, ...

    @AKKE47? did you read the start of my message?

    <SOLVED> I deleted all the files in the cache folder. C/Users/username/Documents/Battlefield 2042/cache and that did the trick. I CAN NOW PLAY Stranded again. <----- this is the solution

    I added it to the top so people could see what I did to fix the problem without reading through everything, but I added it to the end as well to avoid confusion

    ahahahah workaround? 

    "Edit2: been playing for 2 hours with no crashes on different maps and it is only when the new Stranded map loads that I crash.  "
