Summarize your bug While playing today, I noticed that the sound doesn't appear to take occlusion into account. I noticed it on the Stranded map while inside of one of the small rooms on the side of the marooned ship. The room is sealed off from everything else except for small entries on opposite sides of the room. While in the middle of the room and facing one of the entrances, I noticed that I could hear sound coming from objects that were on the opposite side of the steel walls. I could hear the sound of gunfire from the interior of the big room on the opposite side of the wall on my left, even though the wall should have severely muffled that sound and in real life, sound waves would have bounced around and come through the entrances in front of me and behind me, instead of coming directly through the steel walls. I play on a home theater system with 7.1 channels and Dolby Atmos processing, with "Dolby Atmos for Home Theater" selected as the spatial audio option in my Xbox's settings. I noticed this issue today. Otherwise, the sound is pretty good. I can hear the direction of things and plan accordingly, though it's not perfect.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to the place that I described, stand in the middle of the room, and face one of the entrances. While other players are on the other sides of the walls--as in, in the larger interior room, or outside--and are shooting and making other noise, observe whether or not you can hear that sound coming THROUGH the walls--which in real life, you probably wouldn't.
What happens when the bug occurs? I've already answered that question.
What should be happening instead? I've already answered that question.
Please note that I selected "ConquestSmall" even though I'm unfamiliar with the "small" part of that name, because I assume that "small" refers to the 64 player limit of the Xbox One version as opposed to the 128 player limit of the Xbox Series X|S version.
