This happened to me as well. I found that increasing the buffer size on my audio interface settings fixed the problem for me, but I have talked to some other people who said that doesn't fix it for them. Give it a try and see if it helps.
Obviously something is wrong though, because this doesn't happen in any other games, and never happened in 2042 until this new update and an increased buffer size should not be necessary.
In case a developer sees this, I am using a Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen audio interface.
I'm also using the Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen to hook up to my sound system.

@Ted21088uninstall the focusrite driver this should help (windows still recognizes the Scarlet and the interface should still work). It worked for me, i also have a Scarlet solo 3rd Gen. It's not the best solution but it's better than nothing.

Thanks man, out of all the people on reddit and steam, this was the only correct answer. I had to uninstall the focusrite drivers. Hopefully I can still record my music, but at least battlefield works lol.

@Ted21088 You can use it, but you have to use Asio4all because the Asio driver of the Focusrite is gone. That's the downside to all this.
