The Spotify app on PS4 often runs into a frustrating issue where it stops working due to the console detecting a "blocked scene"—even during something as basic as a title screen! This happens because certain games mistakenly flag scenes as restricted, preventing Spotify playback. A quick fix is to open the game, then press the PS button to go back to the home menu and relaunch Spotify from there. This usually resets the error. If the problem persists, ensure both the PS4 and Spotify app are fully updated. Give this method a try—it’s often the simplest way to regain your music without unnecessary hassle.
