Stats in "Profile" menu not counting correctly

Kill count in the new Profile menu on some weapons are not counting correctly. For instance I have K30 Mastery lvl 42, meaning I need to have at least 1260 kills with it. But it says I have 1160 kil...

Hey could it be that the new profile section is not counting AI or bot kills? I practice and get up to level 12 before using in multiplayer mode, and I can see all my maxed but never played guns and gears “counted” kills lower than the level 40 requirements, or from the perspective of player card T3 and T1 respectively.

I guess it is but what is confusing is that some weapons have more kills than their mastery suggests.
