Steam Linking account problem

i just bought battlefield 2042 on steam. everytime i launch, theres a problem. i get a window saying "something went wrong. to continue linking your ea account, head back and start over"

so i open ea app, login and it asks me to register the game asking for a cd key, wich i dont have. I start thinking the problem is that i have linked my steam account into an ea account, but the problem is that i must have lost the specific ea account my steam is asking for. (i have a couple ea accounts) please help me.

    so how can i fix it ? game again is free weekend and i again cant play it cuz some kind of link bulls@#t ?? i just dont get it how hard is to fix this @#$# 2 years already ?

    @s3r1aLk did ya select the correct account ? Not a wrong email selected to login at gameplatform ?

    Ye i use same email but just didnt work now i try new reg for steam an ea and it work ... idk where the problem is but i dont wanna make 10000 new acc only cuz somthing didnt work prop at any game

    had the same problem. all i did was create a new account since i lost my email credentials of my ea acccount.

    Naah 🤣 i will not change my main 12y/o acc only cuz they have no idea how link acc work 👍  ty gl
