Stuck at waiting for players to join

    Same thing for me on PC. I have tried every game mode, normal, 64 player and I sit in the" waiting for players to join" screen endlessly. If I switch to another game mode, the same thing happens. I literally cannot get into any game mode. What is going on? I have already repaired the installation, rebooted several times, etc. There has to be something going on with the matchmaking. There are too many players online for me not to be able to join any game mode.

    Same problem here since the last patch.. Xbox One X .. But I did get into a 64 player game ..X play open.. Please fix this... Actually I had to run the regular edition not the XS to get into a game.. 64 XS does not work either..

    Xbox One X  .. Uninstalled and reinstalled still can't join a 128 player game..;( Can play 64 on the reg version.. I've tried everything, fix this S**T! .. 5 days now

    So finally got in game..Had to go to power settings and do a full shut down, had BF2042 open at the time..Powered back up and went through the opening sequence for the game, exited it and was able to get in a 128 game again. Hope this helps someone with the same problem.

    At first i thought that people just aren't queing for these gamemodes in my region.  But I am begining to think this is a bug aswell. Many people are reporting similar experiences under technical issues.

    Im in South Africa and cannot get into any breakthrough servers
