Stuck in Windowed Mode
Loaded back up from a long break, now I'm locked into a window. I've tried the ole Alt+Enter frostbite fix but nothing. I also deleted my profile under my documents folder... nothing. The only thing ...
This post should help explain what's going on.
Laptops have two GPUs and the game doesn't know which GPU to select. Some laptops also have a piece of hardware called a mux switch which basically allows the dedicated AMD GPU to bypass sending a video signal through the integrated GPU inside the CPU.
You can try plugging a HDMI monitor into the laptop and sometimes that allows the dedicated AMD GPU to output a video signal straight to the monitor. You can also see if there's a way to turn the mux switch on/off if the laptop has one.
