I second this as well. Had something similar happen to me in the past and it turned out it was a malfunctioning USB port.
I didn't have any problems before until season 1 and when I got it I didn't mind it but when it happened constantly I uninstalled it and I installed it again to see the new season and I'm still getting the same issue thought it would go away but I was wrong. It's not the USB ports because other battlefield titles I play and older games I have no issues but this game gives me this bug where its unplayable

I'm running a 2060 RTX I don't even think that should be an issue.

I have tried and still nothing Battlefield™ 2042 2022 08 09 23 41 42 - YouTube this link if whats happening i just look up I cant do anything not right or left or down its locked looking up.
- @2B_Enthusiast When this game was first out this issue was around when other usb ports were being used.
Unplug/disconnect everything but one mouse and keyboard.
Hotas/steam deck/blutooth were common to cause this issue
