Stuck on standby screen

@AzarasGER having similar issues. I can play bf2042, bf bad company 2. But when I try playing bf3 or 1942 it let's me in the game I run around a little and it just kicks me into the main menu
me too... a few seconds ... and screen goes black ... then back to main menu ??!???!
