They are having a real problem targetting any armoured vehicles. I threw at a tank directly and it also went off to an air target 750 METRES away.
Just speculation - but I think they are targetting vehicles that teammates have previously locked onto ignoring the range. At the start of the match they don't tend to fly off so erratically.
Wilst it was nice at first just to "Hail Mary" them every spawn to see them fly away at enemies in the sunset... towards the mid-end of rounds it's impossible to aim them at targets in front of your face.
