Personally, I could easily do without take-downs all together (I find most of them in games like this silly to be honest) but if they are going to be in the game, they could have done much better. .....and yes, I agree they should be in the same perspective (first person). .....but this small potatoes vs. everything else I wish they would fix / change in this game.
You have to come up directly behiind someone to get the takedown. If they move at all, all you do is swipe at them and it takes 2 hits to kill. This is frustrating because in past games, hitting "F" engaged the take down a lot easier than now.
