The latest version of EA anticheat is required

I purchased Battlefield 2042 on steam a few days ago installed it and tonight I wanted to play it. when launching it states i need to update the anticheat. I for the life of me can not figure out how to do this. can anybody help me out with this please because the website does not pop up when I go to it
