Found this on reddit and it worked for me.  Hope it helps you out.

  • Navigate to C:\Users\[USERNAME]\Documents\Battlefield 2042\settings\

  • Make a backup of file called PROFSAVE_profile

  • Open PROFSAVE_profile with notepad

  • Change GstAudio.TTSEnabled 1 to GstAudio.TTSEnabled 0
