I thought I should report this, as it might help others and I've found a workaround.
My PC has two NIC connections, and I have to disable one of them (it doesn't matter which one I think) unless I'll be 5 minutes in a game and Easy will kick me back to the main menu.
Does anyone know any config etc changes for the game to save me not have to disable the 2nd network adapter each time I start the game?
Community ManagerIt's the only game I have that does this. I have Xbox Game Pass on PC, so if there's any other EA titles that use EAC on that I could try then let me know and I could see.
I wonder if it's something firewall related, either Windows Firewall or PNP rules for the routers? If I installed and started the game on NIC1 but then have installed and use as the primary NIC2 then I wonder if Easy is not liking that? I might try reinstalling just to see, as I have added NIC2 (which is now primary) more recently. I did try uninstalling and installed EAC again through it's own setup.exe but no luck.
Community Manager@fearlessfrog, yeah there is actually another EA title with EAC; Apex Legends. It is a f2p game, so maybe you can try it with that & see if you get the same issue?
If that is the case, it is very well possible that EAC itself has an issue.
I tried it a played a few rounds. Eventually (after about 20 mins) it did disconnect me when I was spectating a game. I guess it would be EAC not liking two NICs - is there somewhere better to report that?
