Unable to add people crossplay

I can't seem to add my friend who's on PS5, I'm on PC. He can add people on Xbox/PC but cant seem to add me for some reason? Any idea why?

You need to add them as EA Friends in the game and not in Origin. @syndicite570895 @H3ndr1kV3rw03rd @1eyewilly @STINISTER

@ElliotLH my friend is on PC im on xbox series X i have him added on the EA app on my laptop and when we play APEX i can see him online its just on battlefield 2042 i cant see him

@killakush6970 Have you confirmed with your friend that they're running the Series S/X version rather than the Xbox One version (the game tile on their Xbox will say which version they are launching)?
