There is no way to exit from the waiting to contact server screen. Stuck in a continual unable to connect.....connecting......unable to connect....ad nosism. Give use an EXIT BUTTON.

Servers are down for one hour
When you get this message I am not able to close the game without using Ctrl Alt Delete.. or is there another way?
DICE Team@EA_Atic I'm trying to update the game via the EA App and it shows that an update is required for the game but clicking the update button doesn't initiate the update. It just shows me that the update is around 6GB but then nothing. Are servers up?
Edited: Uninstalled EA App and reinstalled Origin. Note to future self: get games on Steam and don't mess with EA platforms anymore.
Alt+F4 is the shortcut to force close any Windows app.
This worked for me (on PS5): I asked my internet provider to restart my router/modem (from their office), and after that BF 2042 has worked fine all the time.
