Unable to join friends while they are already in server.

I would add:

1. switching squads is not possible
2. if I leave a squad and create a new one, then invite friends.. nothing happens, friends can't connect to the server
3. not being able to join a server friends are playing on while squad is full...
4. no server browser = no way for friends to join by ID

I know that but it should be possible to join friends mid game just kind every other single battlefield has allowed to do.

This happens to me to, only I'm playing on Xbox Series X. 

Hard to believe essentially the 6th version of this game and they STILL dont have squad join working correctly!! 

Happening on PS5 as well!

I was able to create a new squad by leaving my sqaud.

Get to your menu, go to squad and players and you should be able to leave squad there and it will put you in a new squad.  Although I have heard it is a bit buggy and some people have the game crash doing this.  I don't have any evidence of this.

Original thought for me was that the player joining you may have a spot in the server, but not in your squad in-game which would then kick you back out because the game didn't have a squad to put you in (which doesn't make sense to me because it should just create a new squad and drop you in if it that is the case, we are talking about Cyberpunk 2077 type of a launch though so there is that..) and would then kick you back out for lack of placement placing you back into the squad but at the main menu.  Creating the new squad didn't resolve that, players still wait through the que, then attempt to join, show to join, and are then kicked back to the main menu.

The most disappointing factor of all of this is that it isn't a new feature for Battlefield.  These are standard features which created a community of gamers and a purpose to purchase the game and season passes and everything.  Now it is a reason to dislike the game and be disappointed with a purchase hoping that they will implement these things back in.

The puzzling thing is there is a queue notification just like the other BF games.  The option is available through origin overlay (shift + F1) Once the you're at the front of the queue, it tries to load the map and everything, but then kicks me back to lobby with the notification at the upper right saying "party leader will choose the game".  However, my friend was able to join my game in progress through origin.
