Seems like I simply cannot join on party in the breakthrough server after the side switch. Normally I only get the "invalid game state error" while the server is loading a new map, and I can join on a party once they are in the new game. Now, no matter when I try to join, I always get the "invalid game state error".
I wonder if this also contributes to the issue that no new players ever gets matchmaked into the 2nd half after side-switch and the those servers always stay empty.
