Unable to load persistence data
Been unable to play ever since the update. I am stuck on "connecting to online services" with an occasional error message that states "Unable to load persistence data". Please look into this.

The only thing that has worked for me so far with this issue is using a VPN. So, for now I will have to play using a VPN until they finally fix it.
That's a bummer. I've read in a few places that a VPN solves the issue, but we shouldn't have to use a VPN to play.
Agreed, but for now it's a duct tape solution until EA devs can pull their heads out of their rears and fix this persistent issue.
