Unable to load persistence data

I had this right after 1.2 update and went to Steam, Settings, Download, Clear Download Cache.

I doubt it is what got rid of this error and I would take this error any day over frozen black screen because with that error I was just kicked back to main screen and got to try again.

With black screen I have to reload the whole game and wait wait wait.

Once again experiencing the Persistence error.  Seems to happen every month or 2.  Have tried rebooting (multiple times), have restarted BF 2042 (multiple times), have even tried letting the game run after the error as sometimes that will load it, but just keeps giving the error.

have you been able to get it to work since then, I’m having the same issue now 

I've been having the same issue for hours. I posted about it earlier in general. There have been several people reporting it on reddit and twitter.

Yeah sadly I’ve been trying to play since about 4pm and still no luck. Worst thing is I just got the game and was having a lot of fun before this happened 

If I switch ISP's it works. One other person reported it works when they used a VPN. Probably some problem in transit that is only affecting certain routes.

Anyone on this thread using Cox Communications?

I'm using Cox and also have the error for the last 3 hrs....

@Straatford87@EA_Atic I'm also using Cox. And another person on Reddit reported they were using Cox. If they used VPN it works. I tethered my PC to Verizon Wireless and that worked.

This is a routing/forwarding problem that appears to be affecting people on certain internet paths. Cox Communications is at least one of them. DICE/EA can you please investigate. There is a subset of players that are unable to play your game. I'm able to help with any network troubleshooting you need.

Was just able to get in the game at 2200 MST (-0700 UTC). Not sure if I just got really lucky or if someone fixed something. Don't want to exit to test.
