FIX for my CPU running 100% and massive keyboard lag in BF2042.

I did notice that my Task Manager was not seeing my correct CPU core and thread numbers. (AMD 7700x at 4 core 8 threads insted of real 8 core 16 threads) So after following the above with no effect.
MY FIX for Task Manager and making the above work:
I did the following fix, Pressed: Win+R, & type in Open: field 'msconfig', go to 'Boot' tab, then 'Advanced Options' tab, and ensure you untick the 'Number of processors'. Re-boot PC.
This then fixed the number of cores and threads available in Task Manager and allowed the above youtube fix to work for me.
I also went into task manager 'Details' & right clicked BF2042 and gave BF2042 High priority for CPU usage.
I went from 100% maxed out to running 55-99% without any lag. Game playable again. (From CPU limited to 50% of cores and threads to 100% usage)
I hope this helps someone, as i was so fustrated with the cpu at 100% and keyboard lag at 2-5+ seconds making the game un- playable.
