v-sync
turning vertical sync on of off does not change anything.
In both cases no frame rate limit is imposd and there is no syncronization with the screen.

One possibility I can think of is that your display is not actually connected to your GPU.
Check that your display is not connected to your motherboard video output and is connected to your GPU, thanks.
thanks for the reply, the monitor is correctly connected to the gpu. This is a problem I only have with bf2042. I also tried to reinstall but nothing.
