Might not be the exact same cause, but I'm noticing that after playing portal modes that have certain vehicles disabled (such as the 2042 infantry conquest mode that is currently featured), the loadouts for the vehicles disabled in that mode are completely wiped when subsequently returning to a mode that has the vehicles enabled, or even to the main menu... pretty annoying oversight.
@EA_AticHi, it looks like the disabling of certain (but not all) vehicles in a portal mode still causes the disabled vehicles loadouts to reset even after Tuesdays patch.
Seeing as the featured infantry conquest mode went away, I made a quick game mode to test it, the experience code is aau1ea in case you're interested 🙂this bug still happens when vehicles get changed somehow...
I was able to reproduce and am able to see it very quickly by giving every vehicle an unique skin, so for example before latest patch the hovercraft had a colored skin, I got into the game after the patch and saw it had the default one again and also all my set up perks like the repair system were reset
I just can guess but from my feeling when the vehicles get balanced or some internals changed they reset at player side
