Very bad performance on BF42 and BF6

Hello !

I have a huge problem of performance on this two games, on BF42 my performance are worst than the first time i played it with my old CPU (5600X) and 16 GB of DDR4 than my new setup.

I experience stutter, my fps drop sometime to 45 fps on both game, and i have a maximum  of 90 fps on both. 130/140 fps in menu. When i see on youtube people on ultra  1440P with the same config having 100fps while i have it in low/medium on both game

My config :

  • 9800x3D
  • RTX 3080
  • 64GB DDR5 6000 MT/S
  • NVME MP700 14 000 MO/S

As you can see on the video :

  • BF6 and BF42 > I've put Lowest preset setting possible + lowest resolution possible + dlss performance ultra = 90 fps on both ~~    DLSS Performance Ultra + Lowest resolution is equivalent to play  the game at a resolution  of 240x180 or something like that i think.
  • BF V > Ultra preset setting + 2K + No DLSS+ DXR  = 90 fps  Okay the game is old, but i have NO DLSS, the game is in  1440P not in 640x800, If i optimize the game a little in settings i can get  130/140 fps easely.

So i  have the SAME fps than BF42 and BF6 WITH DLSS on LOW QUALITY than on BFV  with NO DLSS and ULTRA QUALITY and DXR.

And i have similar performance than people having the same config than me on BFV, it's only with BF42 and BFV that is worst.

And if i put my BF6 on balance quality mode i get around 60 fp s with big stutter and drops of fps below  45 fps Same for BF42 it runs really bad.

I tried

  • Do benchmark with Superposition/3DMark for GPU/ Cinebench 24 for CPU,   i have a normal score
  • I tried to install a new windows (11) on an other SSD and try with a completely fresh installation :
  • the EA Overlay enable tips, doesn't work
  • i tried uninstalling both time my gpu driver with DDU, no internet and windows update disabled, do nothing
  • i tried disabling resizable bar, do nothing.
  • I tried installing NVIDIA DRIVER 577 and 566.36 : Same issue

Please, I'm desperate. I know that some people's games are running better than ever, but that's not the case for me and some people. I don't know why, and I haven't found any solution whatsoever. What's more, I only have this problem with these two games!

Please help EA.
