WARNING: Your save file(s) are corrupt and could not be read by the game.

I tried to change in setting files the button for the console to change it from "`" to something else and when I Did it the game broke, now every time I try to open the game, the error pops out: WARN...

I managed to repair this shittt, My friend sent me his files from settings and I deleted mine and works perfectly

do you have a copy of the file youd be willing to share? I have the same problem and I cant find a fix that works anywhere online

The files in My Documents are not being overwritten by OneDrive by any chance?

Might want to uninstall the game delete BF2042 folder in My Documents. Go to https://onedrive.live.com/login/ and delete the BF2042 folder then reinstall the game and see if it works?

was a fix found for this? the other person you replied to didnt respond and i'm having the same issue. If you could offer up any advice on it, i would be gratful
