    Something has been changed on the server side and this issue is now resolved.

    Want to thank the back end devs for their work on this, and ... while the patience of the CM team for not completely losing their mind due to the toxicity of some of the posts about this is to be lauded, the complete lack of communication on this issue for over a week is shameful.  I recognize it's a hard job, but your job is managing the community, and you dropped the ball. Please do better, the game's success depends on it.

Correction:  The previous bug report regarding this issue was not deleted.  It was moved.  To general discussions.

@EA_Atic I think there might be a bit of confusion regarding the often copy/pasted "XP awards" tweet.  There's two separate currencies when it comes to unlocks and awards, XP and kills.  The tweet talks exclusively about XP, which is why that post has gotten the attention that it has.  No one, anywhere, has officially acknowledged the issue with kill tracking.  Is that because officially the two are related, and that's why there's nothing to say on the topic that wasn't already said in the tweet?

@karms-USMC the likely reason why this is not being addressed is because they do not want bots used to farm the unlocks/mastery badges either. The reason the mastery badges are so high for kill counts is so that when you achieve them it is suppose to represent dedication and skill, not killing bots. You can unlock the first 20 kills of attachments for every weapon in bots still so i would say it’s completely intentional.

    @rekoj1806 Then why not split progression for pve and pvp? There are people who don't even touch pvp ad did buy the game because they advertised "you can unlock everything on every mode o matter how you play" I did jump in pvp because of the disable, but hated it. Hovercraft, dozer with is stupid shield that runs over you and the pro players who kill you like it's nothing. Two matches of constant death and 1 or 2 kills... That is no fun for me

      @Scarex_666 It will come back but just like the xp exploiting, they are trying to find a way to remove the exploitability of the modes.. probably end up like 4 kills = 1 kill progress but it will take a little to do all the coding and such before they put it back. It is annoying fighting sweaty players but it also is an issue that needs to be addressed

        @rekoj1806 But why is there complte silence about the subject? They only told the players that xp was reduced intil they find a solucion. Nothing about the kill count for mastery progression

    while I agree, what they should really be doing is releasing a larger patch update where this problem is addressed by updating the AI to learn from player data from match replays (war thunder already has the basic framework for such a feature so it shouldn't be that far fetched)
