I keep getting disconnected from the EA Server, right in the middle of a game and I'm getting this error (4688822970:-4685921B) I've reinstalled my EA App, Steam and the game. I've check my graphics driver, and even rebooted my router. I don't have any packet loss and my speed test is 500 and my upload is 40. I can play other online games flawlessly with no lag.
I haven't played BF2042 in over a month, There has been a few updates since then, I'm not sure what went wrong.

I'm getting the same issue in middle of match get disconnected always with this code, this only happens from the last update... I have a connection 500 download a 100 upload and I don't have any issue playing other games not even a sign of lag...
- I think I found the solution for it.
This problem is related with one of Windows Services, the name of this service is Client DNS "DNSCache".
You need to check if your Client DNS "DNSCache" if it is running.
*Solution: this service needs to be fully operational, and if it is not, you need to solve any problems with it.
To complete, open the Command Prompt as Admin, and execute all those commands one by one:
Type " ipconfig /flushdns " and press Enter.
Type " ipconfig /registerdns " and press Enter.
Type " ipconfig /release " and press Enter.
Type " ipconfig /renew " and press Enter.
Type " netsh winsock reset " and press Enter.
Restart the computer.I have been trying this for the past week, i am still getting the same error. Any other suggestions? I am so sick of this, i have not been able to finish a single game in over a month.
- @BluePalii Hey, are you still getting the same error? Ever since BF5 got ea anti cheat update, I've been getting the same disconnects there too. Something is wrong with EA anti cheat. Before that, everything was fine.
It does not work.
I'll be able to get on Battlefield 2042, connected no problem and play for maybe 5 - 10 minutes before it kicks me out with the Error in the image below.
I have completely reinstalled windows 10 with *just* the game and still have the same problem. Even chatted with Google fiber support and they told me everything is okay.Hi, I've been having this issue from last week. Play for 10 mins~ and the game just disconnects. I can instantly reconnect, then afterwards, I get disconnected every 2 min.
All the other online games I own run flawlessly without disconnects.
I tried every solution I can find on Answers HQ and Reddit, none of them worked. Any ideas?

During that time, I could play BFV without issue - and right after it got the EA Anti-Cheat update, the same issue started popping up for me in BFV as well. Rarely can I play a full game, and it almost always kick me out mid-game, or even when I'm just idling in Menu. It's entirely random, I've tried flushing and registering DNS, reinstalling windows, and numerous other solutions (even carried my PC to my friend's place) - same thing happens.
DICE please, acknowledge this problem. I live in Germany and my ISP is Vodafone. I know I'm not the only one having this problem.
