What is the Checking data
This happens a lot when I play games. Waiting for a long time will not go away. I don't know where the problem is, it's annoying to quit the game and re-enter. Please help me, I love BF2042

What internet connection do you got from your ISP, what is download / upload speed ?
did ya repair game already? windows updated , do youi also got the update (kb5017383) installed ?
Try a cleanboot and let us know if it fix anything for you.
