what is the icon mean ? game is lagging... thx for help.

That just mean there is performance issues

 that icon is helpful to identify what the problem is since there are other errors that can cause similar disruptions to the game.

There are 2 colours to identify its severity, yellow and red depending on the severity.

That icon can show up if your machine is not powerfull enough and the game is rendering a lot of things and the same time, if your machine is powerfull enough and the performance issues are at random, well that would just be EA´s fault.

but what about the game constantly uses up 100% of my cpu? that makes my game extremely sluggish and totally unplayable. i returned to bf2042 just yesterday, but i dont remember my pc holding the game so badly before... :(

The CPU usage is wild, also happends to me, nothing to do other than complain to EA there
