Since I updated the game to v1.2.0 (Steam) I have been removed from every round after ~5 minutes, regardless if I am playing conquest or breakthrough. Immediatly after I am presented with a message (see picture) saying I violated Easy Anti-Cheat policy. Well, I don't cheat so this is definitely a bug that needs adressing. I have tried using the repair function embeded in the EasyAntiCheat_Setup file, within Battlefield 2042 folder in my computer, and even unistalled/re-installed EasyAntiCheat, but neither method solved the issue.

I have the same prob. as well

This happens to me about 50% of the time and "repairing" easy anti cheat did nothing to help solve it.

I've also been having this problem. I couldn't even make it through the all-out-superiority mode. Usually those games can be done within 2 or 3 minutes since you can join when it is close to ending because of the shorter sessions, but even then I get kicked out. I was hoping I could at least get through 1 match so I get my 10k for the day. This sucks because there are less than 30 days left for this battle pass and I'm trying to get all of the items before it is too late.

you probably have an overlay that EAC is detecting that isn't allowed.

This happened to me my first match; I closed the game, and verified my files on steam.
After that it worked; I find VERY OFTEN that updates bring a corrupt file which results in being kicked from a match, and then I always have to validate files.

@PGSTR(Posted this also in your other thread!)
Since I don't know how well you know Steam and his features, you have to judge for yourself if you want to test the following steps.
Also, I don’t know if this work for you because I had another issue before patch 1.2 but I could solve this for myself by using this Steam feature. But maybe it is worth a try.
If you know this already, I’m sorry but maybe this could help other here in the forum ^^
Read all steps first and then consider if you want to do this, it is not worth to mess up things if you don't know how to revert them!!!
So, let’s describe what I have done and what you need :
Steam has a nice feature where you can move the game installation folder to another SSD/HDD.
If you use the Function steam will do kind of a reinstall which maybe can fix things.
In the case of BF2042 this also includes the Thin Client and EAC.
To move a game installation folder in steam, you need more than one SSD/HDD and enough space on both drives to move the game.
Also, you need a steam library folder on the target SSD/HDD.
If you have a huge steam library this is a nice feature because you can spread your steam library over multiples SSD/HDD.
To create such a folder, you click on Steam in the top left, then click settings, choose download and the top entry should be Steam Library folder.
If you click this button you come to the Storage manager and on the right, you should see a little plus (if not click the little “>” button till it shows up) which you click.
In the next windows Steam will only show the drive where you don’t have any steam library. Choose you preferred drive and create a library folder.
Now go to your Steam Library and click with right on BF2042 entry, then click property’s and then click local files.
Now you should see the entry which says “Move installation Folder…”.
Click on it and choose the preferred drive with enough space.
Depending on the involved drive this could take some minutes to move the 55GB-60GB.
If you now start the game on the new location, you can see that steam is doing a kind of new installation also for the thin client and EAC.
(Don’t worry there should not be any additional download, this happens only if there some games files missing or corrupt).
It seems that after moving the folder steam checking all settings again inlcuding the registry and that all entrys are correct for the new folder.
Also, after the test, you can move the game installation folder back to your old path and remove the additional created library folder.
So again, if you're not sure what I mean with my wall of text and you don't want to just push a few things back and forth on your PC.
Then don't do it is not worth to mess up things when you don’t now how you can revert it by yourself.
