For me the performance issues are completely resolved.
Now this:
FYI i figured out how to fix it, verify your game files. i had 22 files fail to validate and redownload and now i dont have the issue.
@vinnieDAcleaner did ya reinstall EAC as an administrator ?
Check for any errors at your windows to:
Press Windows key + 'R' ,typ CMD
Press and hold down CTRL + SHIFT and press ENTER.
When User Account Control shows up, click Yes.
Use the following command lines, pressing Enter after each
(make sure you wait till each of the commands is executed properly):
sfc /scannow
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Reboot system try game again.
PS did ya see any error message after those commands ?
did ya already a cleanboot ?
@Rokebo73 Thanks for the suggestions but I already did all the troubleshooting that has been posted in this thread and in other threads.
One of the first steps in troubleshooting is to ask the question "What has changed?" My system is the same as it was when the game first came out. What has changed is the game itself so the most obvious answer is that it's the game causing the problem not my system. The fact that one of the leading fixes suggested is to 'repair the game files' backs this up. Now this is fine as a temporary workaround but the underlying problem still needs to be addressed by the developers. Instead the burden has been shifted to the user.
As I've said in one of my previous posts, this would be more tolerable if I had the ability to hop back into the same server after the game crashes but without a server browser it is impossible to do that.
@Rokebo73 Was EAC updated in the BF2042 patch that caused this error. If it wasn't then it's not an EAC issue it's a BF2042 issue.
@Rokebo73 I will reiterate. NOTHING on my system has changed. No new software, no new hardware, absolutely nothing. If I was the only one having the issue then I might agree with you but the fact that many people had the issue come up AT THE SAME TIME tells me it has everything to do with the game update.

Been getting the same error as well since Season 1. Kind of bloody tired of it. The only game with EAC that it does it to, too, so I know it's not my PC causing the issue... And to verify, I play it through Steam, have verified the game more times than I can think of and have reinstalled it multiple times out of frustration to try and fix last season's freezes and crashes *sigh*
If I can play Darktide, other FPS games, etc that utilize EAC and not have issues, let alone get removed from matches... it is definitely not my PC's problem.

1st time happened to me today and by playing Solo, I am running at PC and game is updated. After the last update I have played about 5 times Solo an the last one today had this error.
