Why is there 600ms ping and packet loss in every match including bot matches?!!

Every match I join, no matter what gamemode or number of players, has a 600ms ping and packet loss. I even tried to just play against bots and the same thing happens. It even happens when I go to por...

    I have a solution for you. Your documents folder maybe backing up whilst connected. This folder includes the cache and other BF2042 files. You maybe syncing in the background with your cloud storage. You don't need to de-sync your whole documents folder, but try and de-sync the BF2042 folder. I had the exact same issue as you. I have solved it today. No more latency, packet loss or ping issues.

    I use MEGA and this syncs constantly if left to it. So, depending on your particular cloud, try the above.

I have tried both wired and wireless connections. Both yield the same results. I have also cleared the games cache but that did not help either. I have no VPN running. That was the lowest ping on the browser I could find. Here is another video in which I search by ping. I find games with a 44 ping but as soon as I enter it goes back up to 600 with packet loss.

    OMG!!! This was it!! I can finally play again. Thank you so much. Its running buttery smooth now. I wonder why only this game was affected though. So happy to be playing again.

    This problem is due to OneDrive (cloud storage) , You just need to Pause the syncing while you playing

      An what if I don use any cloud softawre and I experience packet loss when theres more than 4 other players around me? Its really bad since the update, rendering the game unplayable
