Look up some tweak guides how to disable some stuff in win11 regarding gaming i.e Core Isolation, VBS etc....
Should not be that bad anyway, I'm using 22H2 fully updated on an 7950X and 7900 XTX, all the tweaks done on 22h2, and after the initial driver cache building first minutes (run around in solo on the maps you play to fix), it's butter smooth at 200+ FPS, and never any hick ups. Apart from the known bugs, BF2042 works like a charm for me at Ultra..
RAM/CPU info would be interesting to know, and I know nVidia had some issues with drivers with high CPU usage. Use taskmanager to check for CPU/GPU/RAM usage while BF2042 runs...
I will not "tweak" my Windows just because BF 2042 is completly broken. All other games even old ones like UT99 or other Battlefield titles run just fine. The game is broken since the release and nobody seems to care.
The Nvidia CPU usage bug is already fixed since 2 weeks.
CPU is a 13900HX with 64GB DDR 5200.
There is no problem with GPU/CPU/RAM usage its just horrible frametimes with insane stutter.
Hey if you don't want help, why ask?
Many users have reported bad game performance with this Windows update on numerous new titles...
Tips:
Either deinstall the 22H2 patch
Do a full Windows install from an ISO with 22H2 integrated
Or do as suggested
Battlefield 2042 runs perfectly fine on my setup with Win11 22H2,
I did some more testing and its Nvidia reflex that will cause the insane stutter. Its still not perfect when I disable it but the game is at least playable.

did try the new nvidia driver ? 531.41 ?
Yeah Im currently on 531.41. I also tried the 3 drivers before that.
I noticed that Windows puts half of the virtual P-Cores of the CPU to sleep while running the game. So only 1 thread is running on each P-Core when BF2042 is started. I don't know if that is like its supposed to work. Seems strange not to use HT on the performance cores. You can't even change anything about that. BF2042 locks cpu allocation by the user.

I'm pretty sure it's the nVidia drivers, I had an issue with the newest 531.41 drivers crashing and some are stating they get stuttering with them. It's going to take some time for nVidia to sort I'm afraid, currently running the 528.49 drivers. Newer drivers had ether high CPU, stuttering or crashing.
