Ok everyone I have found a solution finally. What I did was go to steam. Ad non steam game to library. What you are going to have to do is add EA app llauncher to steam. NOT the Origin Launcher. Then start steam big picture mode with controller you want connected prior. Start EA launcher and your controller should be working correctly.
side note do not unplug the controller after you have launched game to try and switch to another controller. It will stop working completely and you will have to close the game and relaunch.
hope this helps

My problem isn't my controller isn't functioning. I simply can't sprint with the left stick on my scuf prestige controller. If I plug in one of my other standard xbox one controllers it works fine. I have the game on origin and shouldn't need to add the game to my steam library just to get my l3 button to work. I've had this exact issue since battlefield v with this controller. You would think they would have fixed it by now.
Also no it's not my controller because l3 works fine in call of duty cold war, modern warfare, siege, and ghost recon breakpoint.

This worked for me, by using steam to launch the EA app. PS4 Controller with all other emulators closed.
