Summarize your bug: Brand new xbox controller does not map properly via bluetooth. (I got one because the ps4 controller I have made me stuck aiming at the ground in-game).
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? If I connect via bluetooth, the controller is not reading properly. Example I hit B button and it triggers as a joystick, dpad movement. To look left and right is mapped to the triggers. If I connect wired the controller is mapped properly. When I check the xbox accessories app the mappings show correct wired or wireless, so the controller is not the issue.

I am very deeply disappointed with battlefield. I am a faithful follower of the saga from bad company 1 and the truth is that I cannot believe that EA does not say anything about the subject, at least to calm people.
I will not play again until they give a solution, what's more, when the EA play pro expires if they have not solved it, I will not buy it and see that it hurts after the desire with which I was waiting for it.
@AlphaHeir Appreciate the insight into a workaround fix. However, I should not have to use a third-party application to get the controller to function properly on a Bluetooth connection. Especially since this is an official Xbox One controller, not ds4 or anything with a virtual driver. Many other titles work just fine with it. I am content enough to use a wired connection for now. It's not like I play with the screen several meters away from me. Luckily I have a long enough usb c cord, a cord that by default does not come with the Xbox controller unless you get the rechargeable pack or a higher-end one.
I am glad to see that EA is monitoring this thread and hope they get this sorted out with the different client's ex steam, origin/ea app versions with the various issues.
