@GunforHire78 Did you adjust the controller options in the Origin shortcut? Originally I tried changing the controller within the settings> (controller settings) in big picture mode and it didn’t work that’s why I changed it in the shortcut on the video

@juiceua76  yep.  Checked both boxes under controller options and selected Forced On for the Steam Input.

    @GunforHire78 In Big picture mode under Controller settings tab does it show that your controller is detected?

      @juiceua76yep it is detected. 

      The one difference that I noticed from your vid and my Steam library is that BF2042 is not in my library as I bought the game from Origin not Steam.  I don't know if this makes a difference?

        @GunforHire78 Nope that shouldn’t make a difference i bought the game through steam originally and then had to find A way to make my controller work. The post above has some good info about Making sure that the origin or EA app are closed I knew about the Origin app needing to be closed when making the video and forgot to mention it lol
