I used the steam fix that was posted back on page 10 or so, that worked until recently.. Now it doesn't seem to work anywhere.. Been learning on M&K instead.. which is just BS considering when you buy a product.. and previous products contained controller support.. solid support should be expected for your new title.
All in all we were only able to use the controllers at all through 3rd party work arounds since EA is doing nothing about it.
yea, it's weird.
I was able to use my PS5 no problem during the beta.
Now - the game is recognizing the controller, but apparently using some weird configuration because only like two buttons work.
I've tried launching the game through Steam, big picture mode, etc. No luck so far...
Still no fix for this in this week's patch notes. Good luck to everyone that hasn't yet gotten or requested a refund.
Instead of a refund.. basically spend half my days practicing and learning M&K vs bots..
I guess its a decent way to adjust.. but its ridiculous there still isn't an official fix by DICE/EA
Can we please have some acknowledgement from someone at EA/DICE?
Its been a good 3 weeks since anyone with authority chimed in to at least let us know they're aware of this massive issue.
After the patch it's now worse. Yaw automatically snaps more often on right stick, that's if you manage to get the game to recognise the controller
