Xbox Series X BF2042 Crash Persists

@EA_Atic reporting another Xbox Series X freeze and crash while playing Xbox Series X/S version of game. Can play normal Xbox One version without crash. Playing with Xbox Series Elite 2 controller, 4...

    Sorry for not updating for a while. Stuck in Night City after watching Edgerunners. That being said, switching the Power State from Standby to Energy Saving seems to work for me, I was able to have a few rounds with my friend without any crash until I head back to Night City.

    For those still being send to the Dashboard, give this a try and let everyone else know how it goes.

By the way, the above method only works for those don't need Remote Play or don't care Remote Install feature, because Energy Saving mode DO POWER DOWN THE OS.

And @EA_Atic, thank you for selecting my input as the solution, however, I don't believe we have enough feedback to suggest this solution work for everyone, may I suggest we keep this thread under observation?

In addition, I have been thinking, if this solution does work for most of the affected users, does this mean there is something going on with the Stanby mode that could have led the game to crash? As I am not familiar with how Xbox works (at OS, memory or system level), perhaps it may be worth for the developers at DICE to have a peek?

@Niling0227 Well I've only just got round to trying. It made no difference whatsoever. I fully reset my Xbox so it had a fresh start, made it so energy saving was put on from the get go. The game lasted 3 minutes. What an absolute joke. That's me done. I was really optimistic about it if I'm honest. Wouldn't surprise me if EA/DICE created a ton of accounts just to boost it up to get it accepted as a solution.

No matter though. I've been enjoying Borderlands 3 and just about to sink my teeth in to the new Modern Warfare 2. Battlefield is a thing of the past for me now. Thanks for trying to help. I appreciate it.
