[Xbox Series X] Can't find any games when crossplay is disabled
I pre-ordered BF2042 Ultimate Edition for Xbox Series X and have had this issue ever since the launch of the game last year.
Every time I turn off crossplay and search for a game, it throws me into an empty lobby and waiting for players. Have not been able to play the game at all without crossplay turned on.
Steps I've tried:
- Restarting Xbox
- Uninstall/reinstall multiple times over multiple months
- Turn crossplay on/off and reboot the game
- Uninstalled the game 4 months ago. Reinstalled it last month, still had the same problem.
- Reboot/reset router and modem.
I've tried everything suggested to me and nothing has worked. Not sure why I can't find a game when crossplay is turned off. Just at a total loss and I want to be able to enjoy the game.

You almost guaranteed will not find a crossplay off lobby. The game defaults to crossplay as on and that is where the vast vast majority of (small) player-base is located and you won't get paired with anyone else unless they have specifically gone and also disabled crossplay on their systems/game.
