@EA_Atic although I've played dozens of other games with no crashing, I will stress test this method for BF2042 today and get back to you.

@EA_AticSo far, I'd say inconclusive yet surprisingly well. I've played for about 8 hours total since you suggested plugging the Xbox Series X power cable directly into the wall outlet. No crashing as of yet, but this needs more testing before it's considered a temporary solution that I know hundreds if not thousands of ppl have dealt with. I say "temporary" because we deserve an acknowledgement from EA/ DICE and possibly Microsoft as to why this only occurs on BF2042, and would likely require a patch to correct the problem. Unless somehow it's a hardware issue only triggered by one game.
Edit: I usually notice a game crash within 1 to 2 hours of playing followed by a full system crash If I jump right back into the game. After an additional 8 hours of playing I haven't noticed any crashing while Xbox Series X is plugged directly into the wall outlet.

- iiisinkyiii3 years agoNew Traveler@EA_Atic thank you, the crashing has stopped since ditching my surge protector/ outlet strip.
However, if surge protectors are the catalyst of only one game crashing... is this being looked at by developers/ engineers/ communicated to Xbox teams? - EA_Atic3 years ago

Great to hear. @Forcerecon93,
Not that I aware of but the team are always looking at stability with the platforms. But will share it with the team.

@EA_Atic Sorry to report, it's happening again after Season 3 update. Xbox Series X is still plugged directly into wall outlet, and BF2042 is crashing. All other games I play still perform fine.
