Same exact thing is happening to me. Beyond frustrating. To add insult to injury, Xbox won’t refund the game and the game is now on sale at an eye watering discount for a AAA title that came out this year.

that article is NOT helpful in anyway. Battlefield 2042 isn't such a unique game that when everything else on the network works and this game doesn't somehow where someone live is too dense for internet.
This is the annoying screen.
My Xbox X works fine, my pc does this every time I want to play.
It doesn't even close when you click close.
Bought on Steam.
Was working fine before the last update, so it is not the pc or my network.
