Asset new game mode idea
4 squad death match is a good concept, but honestly the respawn feature needs a complete overhaul. The random respawn should place you away from the fire fights between the squads, thus the name random. It shouldn’t place you with another squad member who is still in the fight, at least respawn you in the vicinity relative to your team away from any enemies.
The game mode that I think would work great for the 4 team squad concept would force teamwork and strategy. At the start of the match, one squad is randomly chosen to guard and transport an asset (diplomat or scientist) The asset can be taken control of by any squad, and each has to successfully take the asset to a specified location (rendezvous) only known to the squad who has control of the asset. This will eliminate any camping or squatting on the rendezvous point. The asset should not be killed, if the asset is killed then the squad who killed the asset will be given a spectator penalty of a specified time length. With the maps in BF6, your squad can house the asset in buildings or create artificial cover while transporting the asset to the final destination. It will still be squad vs squad but the squad who successfully takes the asset to the final destination wins the round. (First team to 3 wins) Revives are turned off for squads without control, only respawns at a specified distance away from the controlling squads location. The respawn cannot be on a squad member. If two of your squad mates go down. Your squad of 2 vs the 3 teams of 4 is the way it goes until the 2 rejoin. Each squad can gain control of the asset as long as they can keep their team together.
If a building is destroyed and the squad and asset is wiped out or if the squad and asset is wiped, the team that had control loses control and the asset will be randomly given to the remaining 2 squads. The team responsible for taking out the asset will be put on a spectator penalty.
