Battlefield 2 and battlefield 2142 for Portal please.

To the Battlefield Development Team,

First of all, thank you for everything you have given us over the years. Battlefield has always stood out not only because of its massive battles and cutting-edge gameplay, but also because of the unforgettable memories and sense of community it has created.

With Battlefield 2042, the introduction of Portal was a brilliant idea that allowed the community to relive classic moments from Battlefield 1942, Bad Company 2, and Battlefield 3. It served as both a tribute to the series’ history and a creative sandbox for players. However, there are two legendary titles that the community deeply misses and would love to see represented in Portal: Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142.

Battlefield 2 defined modern large-scale warfare in the franchise, with features such as the Commander system, squad mechanics, and intense vehicle combat including jets and helicopters. Its gameplay laid the foundation for much of what Battlefield is today.

Battlefield 2142 boldly took the series into the future, introducing the iconic Titan mode and futuristic warfare. The Titan battles in particular would be a perfect and unique addition to Portal, offering both nostalgia and innovation.

What makes these games so memorable is not only their mechanics, but also their large-scale maps. Wide, expansive battlefields are at the very heart of the Battlefield identity. If these titles are brought into Portal, it is crucial that their big maps are faithfully recreated, preserving the scale, atmosphere, and tactical freedom that made them special. Without these large environments, the experience simply would not capture the essence of Battlefield 2 and 2142.

Adding these two games to Portal would:

Allow veteran players to relive unforgettable experiences,

Introduce new players to some of the most iconic moments in Battlefield history,

Extend the replayability and overall lifespan of the Portal platform.

As a community, we truly believe that including Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142 — with their large, iconic maps intact — would be a powerful step forward for Battlefield 6 and a meaningful way to honor the franchise’s legacy.
