Battlefield 6 balance suggestions

Would like to start off by saying battlefield 6 looks to be much better than battlefield 42 

A few suggestions that I think might make the game more balanced 

  1. Increase pistol damage by 20%. I wanted to use my pistol more but wasn't really incentive to use it, pistols do virtually no damage
  2. Whenever someone is in a downed State they should be able to pull out their pistol whenever you have a buddy dragging you and reviving you there completely defenseless 
  3. Reduce the sniper glint don't take it out completely just reduce the brightness and if it's possible  remove the sniper Glen all together if a sniper is in a shadowed area or inside a building 
  4. increase the damage output for the m39 3 chest shots to kill and three headshots to take someone down is ridiculous 
  5. Reduce the time to kill with weapons dumping an entire magazine into a single Target or 2 doesn't make sense 
  6. Pretty please bring back hardcore servers and modes (I love battlefield 4 and I that's all that I played was hardcore and on BF 42 I played hardcore)
  7. Slightly increase the revive speed for non-medic classes (probably by 5 or 10%)

    Agreed. Its really hard to get pistol kills unless you catch someone completely off guard. I will say that I do appreciate them being more of a back up after the G17 being broken for the lifetime of BF4

    I dont think this is really necessary. BF has already evolved to letting anyone revive, not just medic. Now they've added the ability to drag and rev at the same time. I don't feel like this mechanic needs to be buffed at all anymore.

    Sniper glint does seem excessive, but I understand the need because of how detailed the maps are these days. That said I think a good compromise would be significantly lowering the glint and then maybe make it more noticeable when they hold their breathe or something like that. Would allow you  to be more stealthy until you actually go to take shots.

    DMR balance is always hard to find a good balance it seems. The second DMR sniper almost seemed completely OP because it was always a 2 shot no matter the distance. That said, 3 shots seems like it can be a lot especially having to follow targets. I think they really need to make the 3 shot DMRs effective at closer range maybe with a better headshot multiplier and hip fire, but still have heavier hitting DMRs that can 2 shot with downsides of mag size, poor hipfire etc.

    I feel like this game suffers from the effect that it feels like you have to mag dump enemies, but you take 2-3 hits and die. Could be net code or something, not entirely sure. Its not game breaking but it doesnt feel like I can tank the same amount of shots that I put into enemies at times. That said, I feel like the damage drop off for some guns that be a little much. Some of the ARs do like 12 damage at range which feels pretty insignificant. I think SMGs and pistols should suffer heavily from this, but other guns maybe not.

    Im sure the final release will have hardcore options, but almost definitely within Portal. The point of the beta is to do a mass stress test for the game. Im sure they didnt plan on releasing every mode during the beta so they can filter all the players into testing out the most common modes first along with non-hardcore gunplay and balance.

  • As someone who played a decent amount as sniper i can say the glint is ridiculously bad. Being a sniper your job is to be stealthy and pick people off from a distance, but when you are visible from one side of the map to other via glint you can chuck the stealth part out the window. In one round we played the entire mountain side was lit up with what looked like a row of decorative lights...it was just rows of sniper glint. Im OG and played Bf games from the beginning and one of the funnest parts of those games was sniper hunting, trying to find that guy who's causing havoc and ruining his day. Now they just stand out like a sore thumb :S

    Hey thank you for your comments on my suggestions about the medic thing about the number one you want to believe how often I got killed reviving a buddy or something just to have a guy run around the same corner and open up on me at least having a pistol with a down player gives you a slight chance to bring someone back 

     

    And for the opinion for the last one about the medic revive thing the reason why I said that is because when you're dragging someone around a corner it still takes about six or seven seconds to revive someone a lot can happen in that time like someone running around a corner and opening up on you I think most of my deaths was because of someone pushing a position while I was reviving somebody
